KH8Q was quite readable for at least a half hour last night (around 1000Z) here on the central California coast. Short CQ's followed by short listening intervals, usually just enough for someone to send a call once. WA6YEE and I both called for about a half hour without success, and I heard JO7HAM and JQ7DPP calling also. I went to bed about 1030Z.
