One thing to remember is that there is no one right answer to your question.
In talking to a noted M/M operator re the DX Engineering array, he
reminded me that having a number of options is the best choice for
hearing on the low bands. It is one of several options he has for low
band reception
Regarding the BOG, I personally don't care for them. I made one while
I was at the League and was unimpressed with it's performance.
I favor Beverages as the best all around alternative. That said, I'd
also look closely at the K9AY loop. My experience is that if you do
A/B comparisons, there are going to be days when one outshines the other.
Options, options, options are the path to success on the low bands.
