July 13th John, W5SUS, shall celebrate his 96th birthday.
I am not certain the year John got his ham ticket, but I believe it was in
the late 1920s as a "9" in Kansas City. For many years he was a stalwart on
Top Band along with the likes of W1BB.
John was on 160 earlier this year, too
