Hi All

I blindly quoted from the note under a graph fig 3.10 in Moxon's book in a
posting yesterday stating that RF resistance was proportional to
circumference.

However there is an inconsistency since in the text it quotes that R for a
given length of wire is "Inversely Proportional" to surface area ( - which
of course is circumference x length !)

Hence thinner wire has less surface area and more resistance.

My copy is a first edition dated 1982 but I dont know if the note was changed
in later editions.

Apologies for any misunderstanding
