I believe the main purpose of QRP operation is to provide a challenge to those with large antennas, super good receivers and lots of power. It provides these fine hams a reasonable justification in their hobby, gives them a challenge to meet when trying for DXCC QRP. Makes the statement "if you can't hear them you can't work em" especially true! We really should thank the QRPers for their fine work in making communications with them as challenging as it can be.
