Comments:
1. My station is set up for M-M and did not have a station for 160m handy hence
no qso's on 160m.
2. Band changes involved changing seats from one station to the next
3. This was just a part time effort on my part, as I was on call for work and
could not do a full bore effort.
4. It was an excellent chance to see first hand how the station operates and
its strengths and weaknesses...definately need the ability to beam more than
one direction on 20m, and need second antenna for 40m.
5. I really hit it hard the first 10 hours and was expecting some good runs on
Saturday...just didn't happen.
6. I knew it was going to good on Sunday when I could work Eu on 15m about 1.5
hours before sunrise.
7. I learned that the 400hz Irad filters are good, but not as good as the Inrad
250 hz...I have the 250 hz in the 40m station and it looks like I will have to
get them for the rest of the stations.
8. 10 m was crowded like a rush-hour bus...couldn't find a seat
anywhere...much-less a place to park...
9. Had some really rare dx call in HS0,YI9,VQ9,3B8,9M6,A45,XT2,9V1, to name a
few.
10. I had a great time...the strategy for Single Op AB is really a lot
different from M-M...
11. I probably didn't spend enough time looking for mults...as my line score
shows.
12. Tried hard to keep a balance in my band totals...
13. I had some off times during peak time to help my elderly mother with my 85
yr old father who has had a debilitating stroke.
14. This is the last CQWW contest from this location...new QTH and more towers
after the first of the year...and the new location is considerably quieter.
