On 3/19/2014 1:34 PM, This very rule was mention at the ham club meeting not long ago and one of the others said like the ride home in rush hour traffic when we could be using our cell instead of 2 meters.§97.113 Prohibited transmissions. (a) No amateur station shall transmit: (5) Communications, on a regular basis, which could reasonably be furnished alternatively through other radio services. Ever morning and evening I guess could be considered "regular basis" damn if you do and damn if ya don't. Catch 22. _______________________________________________ RTTY mailing list RTTY@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/rtty |
