On December 23, 1952, the FCC issues its ruling on hf RTTY. The first issue of
the RTTY JOURNAL, (January 1953), carried the complete docket/s and also the
formation of the Southern California RTTY Club with all the members... I think
there was also mention of the first RTTY contest but I have to go back and
