Hi All After reading comments about service from some of the major companies I felt compelled to write this note. My FT-1000 quit working on the 22nd of October which is when I sent it to Yaesu in Cypress Ca. for service. I talked to the service dept in regards to the problem and what was the turn around time he said about 2 weeks Yesterday 11-03-03 the rig arrived at my door repaired and ready to go. I think the service department is to be commended for a job well done and in a speedy fashion.
