Considering that most modern PC's only have one serial port, and a lot of us
need
at least 2 or more ports (rig, TNC for DXCluster, and serial or parallel for
CW),
the older machines might be just the ticket.
What would be nice is a cheap switch that would let you share your keyboard,
mouse,
and monitor between the two CPU's. They are made, but the ones I have seen are
very expensive.
