Tnx to all who responded directly or posted. My original post was meant to stimulate some "outside the box" thinking. In consideration of the reality that Packet is here to stay, here's a novel follow-up. Why not pool creative thinking and come up with a collective list of the "The Top 10 Ways To Improve The Efficiency And Use Of Packet For The Enjoyment Of All." An important Supplement would be: "The Top 10 Ways To Level The Contesting Playing Field And Maximize Adherence To The Rules By All Participants." Certainly there is sufficient experience on this forum to accomplish the above, and the results forwarded to the ARRL, CQ, NCJ & all Contest Sponsors. 73... Rick, K6VVA
