One of my friends is a true genius. Almost single handedly, he designed the
Tektronix 519 scope - which had a passband of 1 gHz using 1950 technology.
I was always amazed at the things he did not know the answer to. He
continually "reinvented the wheel". I found he asked more stupid questions
than anyone I knew - except for curious 5 year olds, of course.
I just saw him yesterday. Amazing that with all his brains, he ages just
like the rest of us.
