That's absurd logic. There are a few mistakes in a textbook, thus why
bother studying it? There are numerous inconsistencies in the Bible,
yet I see few suggestions that we not study it.
The real experts who choose to contribute their time and energy to
responding to questions here are, for the most part, gainfully employed
and quite busy. They don't have time to teach basic electronics, nor
should they. Be thankful that they do spend this time to pass along
information and concepts that aren't in the books. And spend your own
energy in the woodshed before asking a question. When you do, it will
be a lot better question, and you'll be far better equipped to
understand the reply (and to know a good answer from a bad one).
