I have not had time to read over all e-mails having to do with two
tone testing.
However, it would be nice if one could combine two 25watt RF sources to
produce
100 watts PEP with out introducing non-linearities. It would require an HF
combiner with very good isolation. Then we could really check our
amplifiers for IMD.
I once had a TMC two-tone generator that had an audio output and an RF
output.
It had 2 crystal oscillators in it. I traded it off with the rest of the
SSB test instrument
(Spectrum Analyzer, LMO etc) at Dayton last year.
