[AMPS] AL80A / IC765

I have an older al80a and a new (to me) Icom 765.  The amp specs
indicate the transmit relay is 12 volts DC.  The 765 manual shows
24 vdc on the send line.  Do I need to install a voltage divider
to keep from overdriving the amps relay?
