I suspect background programs are slowing down the computer so you see it in the speed. I use a real old laptop and have found that getting rid of the un-needed background programs helps the performa

I have the same problem. The CW speed was reset to the speed of the Winkeyer. There is a checkbox in Writelog under CW to "ignore Winkeyer speed pot." I hope this helps Joe K0BX Honor Roll Phone Hono

The Winkeyer interface was problematic for quite a while.... As Joe said, if you have a recent WL update, check the box that says Ignore Winkeyer Speed Pot. That fixed it FB for me. 73 Hal N4GG I hop
