To my knowledge AMD does not make a true 64 bit processor. I built my current computer with an AMD Athlon 64 4000+ Dual Core 2.41 GHz Processor without any problems with any amateur radio software. _

!?! AMD made a true 64-bit processor long before Intel came out with their IA-32 compatible 64-bit processor. In fact, almost every general-purpose processor vendor had 64-bit products before Intel.

Cort, I am using Windows Vista Ultimate which is 64 bit and WriteLog is working fine on it. My Computer is a Pentium 4 3.0ghz Dual Core with 4 gigs of RAM Hope that helps answer your question. 73, Go

Of course you are right. I was referring to using the AMD 64 processor with Windows XP SP3 32 bit operating system. I have heard that some amateur radio software packages do not work with XP 64. 73 A
