I never saw any effect from looping the wire back on itself for several inches. Didn't throw the resonance off a bit. Of course, at 80M a few inches doesn't make all that much of a difference _______

Could also cut the remnants off and get a pier pin along with a base plate. Drill a hole in the concrete, place the pier pin. I used a pier pin for 15 years with no problem Bob/WF3H _________________
