I believe the answer is simple. It has to be cheap (not expensive) for the ham market. A quality product can be made but those that would spend the extra cash are too few thus making the product even

Plus Idiom sells the EZ-Rotor kit that does allot like brake delay, momentary opposite turning to preserve the wedge, and RS-232. We have done two and will do at least two more. The LED kit is OK too

Hmmm.. just had a failure and replacement pot sent. Maybe I should have gone with the relay/magnet. New pot looks much different than the original Dick - KB1H I use the pulse counters on my K0XG ring
