The one gotcha I can think of is that if you run something like Raspbian on your Raspberry Pi, you will need to power it down in an orderly fashion, or you will be forever reflashing the microSD car

Decided to try to get an Arduino Nano clone with the non-counterfeit FTDI chip (so I don't have to play driver games). The RPi remains idle. :-) Anyone know of a tutorial on getting COM ports to play
