Yes, on CQWW RTTY there are a lot more multipliers due to the states and generally lower total QSO numbers, which means that working multipliers is not nearly as important on RTTY as the other modes.

Correct, but the dial may read correctly, depending on the radio and how it is set up. For instance, the FT1000MP SHOULD be set to "OFFSET" in the menus so it will automatically add the AFSK offset
