I am trying to settle on using the new WPBase boards for Flashrom for a new tower. My experience so far has been AP1000's only. I think the AP1000's are 66Mhz and the WPBase is 133MHz. I guess I am j

Hmmmm, I hesitate to give the "OFFICIAL" Karlnet response! ;) My response is two parts: 1. Without question a Flashrom with a suitable motherboard (say 233Mhz or faster) is better than our WPRG+ Boar

The WPBASE+ board is the same as the WPRG+ board with an additional Ethernet and Radio slot. You do not gain processing power. Another issue (for me) is that I think the flashroms are bit cumbersome.

My reasoning for going Flashrom is that I am competing heavily with Cable Modems and so I need to deliver as much speed as possible. Throttling will be turned off completely and handled at the NOC. I
