[Skimmertalk] The Bottom Line on Z60A Spotting (as of 2/4/18)

After a little back and forth with Alex, I understand what's going on.
Heretofore all three Skimmer/Skimmer Server programs used *both* the
pattern file and the ITU prefix list to decide whether or not to post a
spot.  If a call's prefix was not on the ITU list, then no spot was
forwarded.

This has now changed. If you are running CW Skimmer 2.0 (not Skimmer
Server) then the patt3ch.lst file is used both to set the number of
required repetitions and to validate the prefix.  Any Skimmer 2.0 user
can use buttons on the patt3ch.lst tab in Aggregator to download the new
pattern file, and you will then be ready to spot Z60A.

However, because the two Skimmer Servers have not yet been updated,
downloading the revised pattern file will not enable you to spot Z60A.
That must await changes Alex is making to both programs.  Stay tuned.

Sorry for any confusion I
