There may not be more busted spots on 6, but they may be more noticeable as the RBN posts non CQ spots for 6 and up. Tonight I noticed you spotted LA3LAL on the same frequency as TX5EG on 20 and at the same S/N and WPM. I believe that LA3LAL was a station that TX5EG worked. You and JE1SGH were the only skimmers to spot LA3LAL, so chances are you both heard TX5EG giving him a report. I noticed tonight my own skimmer is sending non CQ spots to my Aggregator of Europeans that I can not hear on my IC-7300, which is fed by a splitter off the same source as my skimmer. I also noticed tonight that W1AW was sending a DX Bulletin on 14047.5 and my skimmer was picking out some of the calls from the bulletin and posting them to my Aggregator on 14047.5. While these were not spotted as CQ calls, and did not get sent to the RBN, they probably would have made to to the RBN if this happened on 6 meters. I am using a Red Pitaya, not a QS1R.Lee VE7CC

What at the reasons that skimmer seems to produce more busted spots on 6m? I have asked this myself before… I too have experienced this with my QS1R and gave up as I spotted a few European stations that clearly were not there. I have not this issue on 10 and spot quite a few beacons during the day. I am using a minicurcuits pre-amp. I would
