I thought you all might be interested. There is a very powerful and
easy-to-use and free data visualization application called Tableau
Public, available at https://public.tableau.com. It is a combination of
desktop software and a website which archives charts you create from
your data. You can either share URLs of your charts or embed them in a
website or blog. Very cool, and did I mention, it's free?

The downside, of course, is that your data are uploaded and stored on
the Tableau Public website, so it would not be the place you'd want to
store commercially valuable data, but that's why the get $999.95 for the
pay version. But for our kind of stuff, it looks to be very useful.

For examples, check out

 >, created by Tomi OH2BBT., and
<https://public.tableau.com/profile/pete.n4zr#!/vizhome/Book1_10352/Sheet1>,
which I made from an RBN archive after about a half-hour of watching
instructional videos and 15 minutes of playing around in Tableau.

All credit belongs to Tomi for turning me on to this.
