Version 2.6 does not change the Aggregator in fundamental ways, compared
to version 2.4, but there are a couple of things that make it worth
upgrading, and that you need to be aware of. You can now log the Telnet
output of Skimmer or Skimserv. Check the box on the Connections tab to
activate this option.

  * Clicking the red X at the upper right corner of the Aggregator
screen now works like the corresponding feature in Skimmer Server -
that is, it minimizes but does not close the Aggregator. We did
this because people complained about closing the Aggregator when
they only meant to minimize it. To close, you now need to
right-click the icon in the System Tray, just as with Skimmer Server.
  * All spots sent to the RBN server will now use a period as the
decimal point in the frequency, regardless of how Windows is
configured on your machine. This arose when a German RBN
contributor using AR Cluster V6 to combine spots from several
Skimmer instances discovered that spots with a comma in the
    frequency were not being forwarded.
  * The Aggregator now asks for calibration within +/- 0.1 KHz, rather
than 0.2 KHz as before. This is intended to get all spots within
the DX cluster network's 0.1 KHz rounding range.
  * Spotting station callsigns containing a "/" are now forwarded
    properly to the RBN server.

We hope you'll put 2.6 on your RBN node soon!
