[Skimmertalk] Softrock Recording Needed

The RBN team is working on a way of identifying and handling I/Q images
- the sort where a station is Skimmed below the receiver's center
frequency, but also appears, weaker, the exact same distance *above* the
center frequency. During CQWW these images turned up an average of ~70
times an hour - not much out of 1.3 million spots, but enough to cause
some concern.

What we need is one or two 15-minute recordings done with CW Skimmer and
a Softrock or equivalent I/Q audio output receiver. CW Skimmer's auto
I/Q balance should be turned off, so as to encourage the copying of
images. If you have or can make such a recording during a period of
high activity, to increase the chances of capturing an image or two,
that would be great. If you'll let me know when the recording was made,
and whether you were connected to the RBN at the time, I can tell you
whether any images were spotted by your station.

Thanks in advance!
