[Skimmertalk] Problem with Display

Lately, my CW Skimmer seems to pause for a second or two, and the display
smears as it is painted, with the traces making horizontal lines.  After
the short period, it momentarily returns to decoding, and then smears
again.  This makes it impossible to tune.

I'm using LP-PAN and the emu-0202 for connectivity to the FTdx-5000's IF.
Is there a parameter I need to change?  I haven't changed any settings
since installing the software.
