I am servicing a very nice Argonaut 509. The RIT (Offset Tuning in Ten Tec-speak) works as it should when on. However, when switched off, there is still a little RIT action, maybe 1 KHz either side of center. Is this normal for this radio? If not. I’ll go on the search… It’s a simple circuit but I don’t want to waste my customer's money searching for a phantom problem.
