[TenTec] Corsair II PBT Question

Hello All,
When using CW on Corsair II, PBT must be perfectly centered or I hear a high 
pitch tone at a low level. Sometimes I need to touch up the front panel PBT 
control during operation. Both the Corsair II's that I have had do this. Anyone 
else notice this?
