i did a reset for the first time a couple weeks ago trying to cure a problem, you are right it doesn't work as it is supposed to. However, it sort of fixed itself. I just did another reset and it seemed to continue from what it should have done the first time. Maybe I did something else obvious, I don't know, but it reset ok.
