[TenTec] one plug remote plus local mic at same time?

I want to link up my omni 7 via internet using one plug software..
The rig will remain at this qth and my ham buddy will be running one plug on 
his end.
Rig here will be hooked up via ethernet cable to my net gear server.
He will probably do some cw plus ssb on his end.

While my friend is online with my omni 7, can I also use the mic attached to 
the omni 7 when he is not transmitting?
