The Omni VII has a socket for a receive-only antenna, the AUX ANT.1. Is this socket switched on transmit, or when in use is it permanently connected to the OMNI VII receiver input? 2. How much stray RF power can be allowed to reach this socket during OMNI VII transmit? More than 10 dBm? 3. If the N4PY mod cables are installed, to allow use of a 2nd receiver, does that affect the answers? Unfortunately the simplified block diagram in the Omni VII manual doesn't show enough detail to answer these questions.
Thanks,
