Sorry, you I was thinking about the IC-756, which I have also disassembled many
times.
Nonetheless, the 8 screws take an additional 2 minutes to remove. correct about
the screw count.
It is still reality that removing the covers is the most time consuming part of
the process of replacing the battery!
