TenTec RF Speech Processor, Power Transformer, Crystal
Filter, HF linear amplifier, and other miscellaneous
accessories For Sale:
TenTec 234 RF Speech Processor
The 234 is the predecessor to the 715 speech processor.
It matches the early Omni 545/546 Series A, B, and C rigs, Delta,
and others of that era, but of course can be used with any rig,
since it simply inserts in the microphone line.
This is an extremely effective unit, typically providing about a
6 db increase in talk power. That is about the same as a linear
amplifier -- at much less cost.
It has both a 4 pin plug and a 1/4 inch stereo jack for input,
and needs 13 V DC at low current. With paperwork for $150.
Heath SB-220 HF Linear Amplifier:
The SB-220 uses a pair of 3-500 tubes to deliver close to legal
limit output on the 80, 40, 20, 15, and 10 meter bands. It is a
proven design that has been copied by many others.
This SB-220 works fine and looks very close to new, with no known
defects. In addition, it has had most of the Harbach improvements
added including a new set of computer grade filter capacitors with
improved equalizing/bleeder resistors, new metering/rectifier board,
"Soft Key" board to reduce keying voltages and currents, glitch resistor,
protective diodes, new HV metering resistors, new fan, and more.
It produces in the vicinity of 1200 Watts output, depending on band.
The input circuit has low SWR to match your rig. This is a really
nice amp. Please call or e-mail for more details.
With paper work for $950. Pickup near Ocala, FL, just off of I-75,
would be preferred. Shipping can be arranged if needed.
TenTec 288 Crystal Filter:
The 288 filter is a 1800 Hz filter for the 6.3 MHz IF in rigs such as
the Argosy, Corsair (I and II), Omni V, Omni VI, Omni VI+, Paragon
and Paragon II transceivers and probably others. It is an 8 pole filter
with a 1.75 to 1 shape factor and 100 db ultimate rejection. It
is useful for wide CW or narrow SSB.
This one works fine and looks fine. With paperwork for $75.
Power Transformer for TenTec Hercules 444 HF linear amplifier
This power transformer is used with the older Hercules 444 HF
linear amplifier (not the newer Hercules II). It includes the
molex plug, so that it will simply plug into the 444. This is
a "spare" transformer that was never used.
The Hercules 444 provided 48 to 50 volts DC at up to 25 amps
to produce about 1000 to 1200 watts DC input in order to get
600 watts of RF out. This transformer is roughly a 7 inch cube,
so is a very healthy transformer of approximately 1250 VA, if
someone wants to use it for another project. $75
Original box for TenTec 2591, Two meter HT, including the
foam insert. $8
Cables for CW keyers and keys:
Cable for paddles
About 3 feet long, and with a 1/8 inch (3.5 mm) stereo
connector on the end, like used by most rigs. $8
As above, but 1/4 inch plug. $8
Cable for straight key
About 3 feet long, with a mono 1/8 inch (3.5 mm) phone
plug on it, as used with a straight key. $5
As above, but 1/4 inch plug. $5
I also have many other accessories available such as many
different types of microphones, HTs, VHF and UHF rigs,
antennas, etc. Just too many things to list here.
Please e-mail your requests.
Prices do not include shipping from Florida.
Thanks.
