With the keyer enabled, there is a continuous stream of dashes. I do not see 5V on the ring of the paddle connection. I do see 5V on the tip. If I ground the tip, alternate dot-dash results. If I provide 5V, through a 10k R, to the dash line, there is no difference. This suggests that the line is being pulled low somewhere. There is a keyer interface shown on the A7 diagram "81917_4 Drivers some spares". Alas, Tentec does not provide photos of the boards showing parts location. I would rather be working on other projects and am willing to make someone a good deal on this 565. TX works.SSB and CW. Main RX works. It has 4 filters. AM SSB 1.8KHz 1kHz New battery for memory. Sharp display. 73, Bob ah7i/w4 |
