For the first 15 minutes or so of operation, the digital readout of my Omni-D shows "float" or a sort of "ripple" in the digital readouts as they flick to different values from left to right. Another fellow has the same problem and has a video on Youtube. see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qAgElOYLgVge Any thoughts about causes? I've changed the tantalum cap and the electrolytics on the readout pcb's. Hitting the processor, etc with a freeze spray didn't cause changes. I've also resoldered some of the connections in the readout assembly. After 15 minutes or so, all is normal. 73, Doug/WA1TUT |
