Dave, I changed over from a Windows environment many years ago so I can’t give you a categorical answer but in my limited experience with Windows 7 on my Mac it seems to behave exactly as on a Windows PC. Windows 7 in my experience still suffers from the process of selecting the proper drivers and selection of the right ports for downloading files -cumbersome- which on Mac’s OS is virtually an automatic process.
