Thanks, Jack, but I have managed to keep track of that!

It is a significant difference in the quality of sound, the headphones 
are clear and crisp, whilst the speaker is muddy and dull.
Just cannot figure why the audio would differs on the two outputs.  I 
guess I will have to test the Line-Out signal quality next...
