Wade -

I am not an electrical engineer.  I'm just an old guy who would like to 
keep his rig on the air.
I depend on the expertise of groups like this to help me fix stuff when 
it breaks.  I really appreciate the suggestions I get.
I don't mind digging in to the gear, but much of the theory is over my 
head.  I was hoping to get an answer to my question like, "Just order a 
xxx111xxx from Mouser".
I enjoy the discussion in any event.

I read the part of the article you mentioned, but little was absorbed  :-)
