No harm, no foul, and I thought it was interesting - although it would
have been more interesting had it involved some dirt or skulduggery...
You mention LMR-400 has a solid center conductor. While direct burial LMR-400DB does, the LMR-400UF "ultra flex" version has a stranded center. Sheesh.
