Steve, my C IIs are also different. The one that I like the best, and use all of the time has a very wide range. You have to turn it almost a half a turn before it does anything. The other one has a very narrow range. About a quarter of a turn and all dissapears. One, you push the knob in for attenuation and the other one you pull it out. So I am sure that one has been replaced, and I have no idea of the value of either one.
