I have two Rascals and have been using them with Ten Tec rigs for years.
I currently use one with an Omni VI on AFSK. The "Mic In" plug is green
and was labeled when I received it with a felt tip pin. The other plug
is black, unlabeled, and plugged into the Line Out jack. I suspect that
their plug colors are not standardized.
The other Rascal, as I received it from Buxcom, ran "inverted" on FSK. I
opened the unit and attached a 1K resistor to the base of the
transistor. This attaches to a wire that is plugged into the FSK jack on
the back of the Omni VI and Orion. That worked fine until recently, but
something must have come loose in what I did because it quit working. So
I'm on AFSK with the stock Rascal until I get around to fixing the
other. But AFSK with the Rascal works fine.

Does anyone have the set up configuration to hook up a Buxcom rascal
and the Omni VI. Need to know where to hook the Black, Red, White and
Yellow RCS plugs on the back of the Omni VI
