cutting and pasting a working link in between < and > should prevent it from being broken by email and auto linefeed.

I just went back and looked at Rick's link.  The link appears in the
message on my screen as 3 lines and only the first line is underlined
and picked up when clicked.  If the message is shown as a a single line,

I bet it would work. Snake bit again by email and long links.
