Hello Barry
About the Key-Input at the Front and Rear from Orion.
Do not key the Orion with Keyer 1 from the Frontconnection and with Keyer 2 from the Rear-Keyerconnection. If you key together with Keyer 1 and Keyer2 you will be destroy the chipresistor at the CPU- Board for the Keyingcircuit.
Conclusion:
Only key the Orion with Keyer1 or Keyer2, not parallel.
The Keyeroutput from Computer only to the AUX Socket at the Rear for PTT- Keying..
This is a very important .
Best Reguards

Although I've used the Orion for 8 years, I'd like to use the internal
keyer for the first time. There are key inputs on the front and back
panels. With internal keyer set to "on", is it possible to connect a
paddle to one input for the keyer and cw output from a computer to the
other input that wouldn't go through the internal keyer? I suspect
the answer is no, but many folks out there probably know for sure.

Thanks & 73,
Barry N1EU
