Many years ago, a friend gave me a Heath HW-7 QRP rig. I managed to putup a 40 meter dipole on the roof of my 3 story apartment building lyingdirectly on the shingles. I managed to work Chicago, which is about 70miles east of that building. The only way I can see that happening isNVIS. I didn't work much else with that antenna, either.
