Hi Lee,
The guy that made the inquiry was asking if it would work with his Orion 2 and according to the manufacturer O2 uses an 8 pin din accy plug and the accy plug on my Omni 7 is a 5 pin din that I ordered when I bought the SignaLink USB so that's why I told him he would need to order or make the 8 pin plug also the other end is an RJ-45.
Thanks for the comment.

I and many others use the TT 5 pin accessory cable on the Orion with good success. Pins 1 through 5 on the 8 pin Orion connector are the same function as other TT rigs using the 5 pin connector. I freely move my interface between Pegasus, Jupiter and Orion and I only have
to change level settings somewhat.

All that said, I'm not absolutely sure the O2 is identical to the Orion. If it is, you are probably
good to go with the 5 pin connector.

Hi John,
Thanks for the reply. In answer to your question on if it will work
with your Orion 2. Yes it will as all you will have to do is purchase
their accessory plug for the O2 as it's an 8 pin Din and mine for the
O 7 is a 5 pin accessory plug. The part # for the cable is: SLCAB8PD
and it's $14.95 from Tigertronics. The Jumper setting inside is the
same configuration as the O7. As far as the cable length goes the USB
cable is about 6 feet long and the accessory cable is about 2 feet
long because you want the SignaLink on or close to the rig. Just let
me know what you want to do as you were the first to reply so will
hold it till you say yes or no on buying it.
