PLL, DSP, and SDR implementations are very much moving targets both
hardware and software and probably will continue to improve, likely
moving more towards the SDR-IQ concept and away from the Orion concept.
Though as spectrum use increases, the use of analog filtering to allow a
but lower clipping threshold may prove to be advantageous if limiting in
rapid general coverage because of the bandswitching required.
