Howard:
L1 is used to adjust the frequency of the 9.00 MHz crystal. T1 is a 455
kHz tuned circuit. You can probably make a new one from an old 455 kHz
IF transformer. Q1 and Q2 are type MPS-3693. I'm sure that you can find
them or an acceptable substitute. Unfortunately, the values or part
numbers of L1 and T1 are not given. I'm sure that Ten-Tec can help you
with this.
I have the data sheet for the FM board. I can scan it for you. It shows
how to interconnect the board and provides a circuit description and
schematic.

Hi
Well it seems that this Paragon 585 has had a hard life!!
Coil L1 is mashed up!!.
455Khz Quad coil (T1) is also mashed up!!.
Both crystals are missing, Y1(9.000Mhz) Y2 (8.545Mhz).
Both Q1/Q2 are missing.
Also there are no wires there to connect the board to the rest
of the radio!
Other than that the radio works fine.
Could do with a good copy of the circuit of the 256 fm adapter
board.
Anyone have any of these parts , or where to get them from ??
