Except the BFO, which has two crystals and five trimmer capacitors. It
is not locked to, or referenced to any other oscillator. Instability in
the BFO could cause drift in only one sideband mode, but not on only
certain bands.
The VCXO on the Passband Tuning Board also runs independently, not
locked to, or referenced to any other oscillator. Since the same
oscillator is used both to down convert the 9MHz IF to 6.3 MHz, and to
up convert the 6.3 MHz IF back to 9 MHz, it cannot cause drift or chirp.
